Language is a complex and multifaceted system that serves as a means of communication, allowing individuals to convey ideas, messages, intentions, feelings, and opinions to others  (Oviogun & Veerdee, 2020), relies on a set of fundamental building blocks known as “parts of speech.” (Newman et al., 2020). In this exploration, we embark on a journey to grasp the essence of these elements that make our language come alive: verbs, adjectives, conjunctions, adverbs, prepositions, pronouns, and interjections.

Interjections are the spontaneous outbursts of language that convey strong emotions or reactions. They can stand alone as exclamations or be inserted within sentences for emphasis. Examples include “Wow!” to express astonishment and “Ouch!” to convey pain. Interjections add a touch of emotion and authenticity to our communication.
